severe brain sleep apnea, PLMD, bell's palsy, pain, head numbness, fog

I finally went to a university medical center and found a doctor to prescribe me meds for sleep apnea it took 6 years.  I went to other hospital doctors, university doctors but they did nothing for the central apnea+PLMD seizure/twitching.  it is terrible to be crippled so young.  a neurologist friend told me it is due to degeneration of neurons in the brain stem.  I have a neurenteric cyst on MRI.  I have to take klonopin with the asv and maybe 1 out of 100 nights I can finally get better sleep.  I may have to give up on a medical or engineering career because of the fog and exhaustion

the opthamologist says I have early glaucoma and I started latanaprost which felt like it reduced the eye pressure.  I suddenly had head numbness and pain on the same side I got bell's palsy(still am a bit paralyzed in my face).  I tried stretching out my neck and the pain increased but the numbness on the back of my head is better.

Hi!
I'm so exhausted and tired of sleep apnea and can't live like this.  what bad things can happen from diamox?  it lowers the cerbero spinal brain fluid which does what?  the opthamologist says I probably have glaucoma (can't read small type) and my head went numb and still hurts

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. Yes, diamox can help, however, it should never be taken without prescription as it may not always be useful. CPAP machines may help, but the settings are different than ones used for obstructive sleep apnea. If you use a machine you are likely to sleep better and the brain fog and exhaustion is also likely to show marked improvement. Please discuss with your sleep specialist. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
