shaking/trembling at bedtime

Hi Group,
I have a migraine variant which means for me that I have:
abnormal EEG (migraine or seizure pattern), this EEG was the type where you stay up all night. I was getting uncontrollable shakes/shivering, for about 10 minutes then severe vomiting all night long with stomach pain. No aura and no migraine at the time. Blood work all normal, immunnoligy testing was normal and all GI testing normal. The closest my symptoms were was cyclic vomiting syndrome but I got this at around 23 years old. I would get these symptoms sometimes twice a month some times off and on. Usually, stress induced. Sometimes not stress induced.
My symptoms have changed because I have been put on Klonopin for the migraine variant. So, I then had no stomach problems, but still had the shakes. I then had  an aura with migraine. Sometimes no aura. This was for about 10 years. Now I don't get the headaches (I am 48) and get the aura in both eyes. I still get the shakes sometimes when I lay down at night. I had another EEG and it was the type where they flash lights at you. The results were normal and showed benzodiazepen use. During the EEG I had the shakes when the lights started getting intence and teared up alot. They stopped the EEG at the point.
Two quesitons, could the shakes be a type of seizure? Why didn't they note to the doctor that I had the shakes along with the EEG pattern being normal?
I have read that your migraines can change as you get older. sometimes you can lose the headache (which is great) and still get the aura.
Any ideas?
thanks,
