Hi,
I can understand about your concern.
I think you should be consulting neurologist at earliest and get evaluation done.
Imaging studies is warranted and get your self a MRI brain done to see for any existing pathology.
Alternatively, speak to your consulting doctor about your concern.
Keep me informed if you have any queries.
Bye.

Hi Zoe,
How old are you?
I assume that by BIH you mean to say Benign Intracranial Hypertension.
There are few causes of swollen eyelid like either it could be your current problem or due to kidney dysfunction.
But in kidney dysfunction you would have swelling on both eyelids and not one.
Your current problem also would cause swelling bilaterally and not only on left eyelid.
I think there could be some local causes like insect bite or any injury or any irritant affecting the eyelid which could have caused the symptom.
I think you should be consulting your neurologist for evaluation if you feel the symptom is annoying.
If you don’t have any other symptoms associated with BIH currently, then you should not be worried.
Keep me informed if you have any queries.
Bye.
Hi, It is also better you call you eye specialist early, usuall increased pressure causes pain, anyways you can consult both of them for better treatment.
Take care.
