these symptoms of what?

Can someone please help me, I am having strange sensations in arms and legs.  I feel like they are weighted, very heavy sometimes, and I also get a jolt, or shocking sensation in the nerves, (especially in arms and hands) it is like a delayed "echo" jerking of the nerve feeling.  My legs feel like they will give out when I stand up sometimes.  Using my arms sometimes feel so heavy like I am trying to move underwater, or in quicksand.
Are these symptoms of MS? or something serious?
I am 50 year old female, with asthma (controlled at the present time) and I only take Theophylline and use Combivent Inhailers, if that makes any difference.

You may want to see a neurologist as this sounds like cervical neuritis. I was diagnosed with this recently and have the same symptoms. There is nothing at this point that can be done to help me but your physician may have different news for you if he orders an MRI to see the spine and if there are compressed disc's in your neck. Best of luck to you! Mskitty8556

Hey, I'm not a doctor and can't offer a thing. Just that I noticed that this board is very busy and I don't think the doctor can get around to everyone or at least me.  I hope you get a reply.

I'm sorry this is happening to you.Not sure what ESL is.
