Can't seem to gain weight

Hi, I was just weighed at my doctor's office at 99.2 lbs.  I am 30 years old and feel that I am too underweight (and have always been underweight).  I am always eating but can't seem to gain a pound.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

Yes, you are underweight for your height, approximately 16lbs. Some people have a higher metabolism and have a harder time to gain or maintain their weight. Make sure you are eating three meals a day. Suggest drinking milkshakes (milk, fruit, and ice cream blended) or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, fresh fruit, and frozen fruit) as your drink at meals for additional calories and protein to help with weight gain.
