Food options

I'm being tested for leukemia and a few other things but my appetite is completely gone. I;m starting to feel the physical affects of not eating but I can't eat anything without feeling nauseous. Are there any foods I could find that wouldn't make me feel nauseous but would also have the energy I need? I keep getting worse and worse and I'm hoping that if I find something I could eat it would help with some of my symptoms. I'm loosing a lot of weight and I really don't have the weight to loose. I'm scared enough as it is having been told already that I won't reach 30. Being only 21 that's a lot to deal with. My doctors keep going from diagnosis to diagnosis and I just keep getting worse. I've almost had a heart attack, my liver and kidneys are sick, my joints hurt to the point that I can barely walk, I;m exhausted, I'm dizzy all the time, and now the simple enjoyment of eating is gone. It may be wishful thinking, but I;m hoping that if I could eat something it will make some of my symptoms easier to handle. Any options would be nice.
Thanks

Because you haven't said what's wrong with you, it's very hard to suggest anything specific to eat, and since you're lack of eating seems more psychological from all the stress you're under from being so sick, it's also hard to tell you what you could keep down.  Is there a physiological reason you're getting nauseous, or is it something else the docs can't figure out?  There are foods that supply a lot of nutrition in a very small package, such as spirulina and wheat grass and seaweed, but you're not likely to find them all that palatable in your condition.  If you can make a shake you like and add these kinds of super foods -- bee pollen and royal jelly are two more -- you can pack a lot of nutrients in a little bit of food.  That's one option.  But I think the advice to see a holistic nutritionist is the best advice, since that way you can get a diet tailored to the foods richest in the nutrients most helpful to whatever it is you're suffering from.  Sorry you can't afford it, but it is a good idea.  If you an eat soup you might try some miso soup with a little seaweed and tofu in it -- it'll help your liver, it tastes good, you'll get some protein, it's fermented so you'll get some help with your digestion, and the seaweed is packed with minerals.  Good luck to you.

Sounds like before you got sick you were overweight and now you are bit underweight, but not dangerously low at this time.  More importantly, you sound malnourished.

All I can recommend is to try a variety of foods and see what might work.  Keep doing the applesauce and soup if that works.  Have you tried nutrition drinks like Ensure or Boost?  Nutrition bars?

Being concerned with my diet is the least of my worries is what he said. I don't think he understood what I was trying to tell him. I'm 5ft 7 and 115 and I've lost 6o lbs since I first got sick last summer. I know it's not underweight but I'm worried that if I lose more I'll start having other problems that will make my situation now worse. He said for me just to try harder to keep things down I just can't, I literally can't keep much down. Applesauce and soup are basically all I can manage. I may be over reacting but it is worrying me.

What do the doctors think is the least of your worries?  Trying to eat?  Didn't understand that comment.

If you are losing that much weight, you will eventually need a feeding tube or PPN/TPN IV.  How much weight have you lost?  How tall are you? You need nutrients.

Have you tried any anti-emetics (anti nausea/vomiting) meds and/or medications that stimulate the appetite prior to attempting to eat something?  Has your physician recommended anything?

OMG:  You are just 21?  I feel for you.
