Maintaining Weight Loss?

I have recently lost 75 pounds on my own via exercise, very good nutrition with lots of fruits and veggies, and counting calories.  I am also hypothyroid--which means I have a slow metabolism and can gain weight easily.

I'm finding it a challenge to maintain my weight. I keep myself on a 1700 calorie a day diet and am wondering if that is sufficient?  I am a 45 year old female.

I am also looking for suggestions and support.

Thankyou,

Cat

I've lost 80lb over the year. I always had a slow metabolism. I made it faster. I eat like 8 times a day but little things, like an apple there couple hours later a banana. You get the idea, also because i have irritable bowel syndrome it pushes me to eat well, but I made it. For supper sometimes I'll have half of a boneless skinless chicken breast with a little bit of salad and rice. I don't use any oil to cook, I don't fry. Thats one of the key thing, no frying ( not even veggies), I boil everything, my meat goes on the grill, to make sure the fat drips. If you eat fiber in the morning you'll feel fuller longer. Thats all I can think about. This is what I do to maintain my weight, I hope I helped.
