I have a naturally slow metabolism (runs in the family) and I took Hydroxycut (then tried Hardcore later) along with my normal workout routine, I saw good results, cut my body fat index down quite significantly.
The thing people need to know about Diet Pills like that is unless you're maintaining a regular workout routine with a balanced diet all they will do is help to keep your weight from fluctuating too much (+- 2-3lbs instead of like 8-10).
Supplements containing Ephedra were about the only ones that really "worked" but the adverse side effects from Ephedra were too much to risk.
To answer your question though, as stated before Hydroxy Cut (and Hardcore) only "work" if you've got a regular exercise routine and eat healthy.
Call me crazy~ but I believe the question was- Does hydroxy cut work? Not anything else..
So- to answer the question, in my opinion-
I've never used hydroxycut, I have a real close friend who tried it, and never saw a difference. He ate less and exercised more, but still never saw a difference. He used hydroxycut for about 5-6 months... But you would have to see for yourself.
Using synthetics to supress appetite is no way to lose weight or fat. Curb your appetite by eating a high fiber diet as in raw fruits and vegetables and raw nuts like almonds and walnuts, and do not forget flax seed. The fiber will make you feel full and that will supress your appetite and load your body with dis-ease fighting anti-oxidants. Don't forget to move your body too.
