Can anyone help me?

I have been suffering from Urticaria for the past 6 to 7 months and one of my friends told me this disease name after hearing the symptoms. I am suffering from the itchy rashes almost on all parts of the body, severely on hands and legs. In the initial stages these rashes are not itchy but after a few days the itching becomes severe. Sometimes swelling of the lips also occurs. Most of the time these rashes starts in the evening and they starts disappearing after some hours. I am a pure vegetarian and I don’t have habits like smoking and drinking. Whenever these rashes started I used to take Avil or Cetrizine (anti allergy pills). I am really bothered about my situation. Once I have taken English medicine, but that was of no use. After few days, I went to a Homeopathic clinic after I started using the medicine I never faced the problem for the next two months. But after a few days they started again and with full intensity. I am continuing the same medicines but they are not showing any effect. Let me know whether this disease is curable or not. I will be grateful for your suggestion. Thanks!

I have suffered with chronic urticaria for about 10 years now.  I take Zyrtec on a daily basis and it really helps.  Every now and then I will have a breakthrough.  Several months ago I had a severe outbreak that affected my breathing and my allergist tested me for antithyroid antibodies.  There is a link between chronic hives and antithyroid antibodies.  Sometimes they can put you on Synthroid to help.  I have a girlfriend who used to have idiopathic anaphylaxis epsiodes at least twice a week.  Her doctor started her on Synthroid and she hasn't had an episode since.  I also know that severe stress and anxiety can trigger hives, along with temperature changes.  Go see your GP or an allergy doctor ASAP.  Let me know what happens and good luck!!!

Also use soap alternatives and try bathing with water disersable oils for urticaria. Check with a pharmacist for brands. Why not search on web for urticaria treatments. I've heard it is manageable, not cureble!

I would suggest that first of all you just stop taking the medicines by the advice of your Homeopath as they are not helping. Here is one very useful option called health pads. I used it when I was in the same situation. After using health pads, I felt my body so much better and lighter. Health Pads, also commonly known as footpads or Detox Pads available at http://www.healthpads.com that help to relieve fatigue, joint pain, headaches, skin rashes and many other health problems. But be sure to see a physician before that. I hope that this will work out for you because it contains natural ingredients. Take care, Bye!
