I think you're confusing pure chocolate, or cocoa or cacao, and the sugar and other additives in candied chocolate. By itself, it is high in caffeine, so eating too much isn't a good idea, and it's also high in fat, although that fat isn't necessarily that bad in moderation, but it's also high in antioxidants and is good for stomach problems -- but again, not with the sugar and corn syrup and everything else added, and not eaten in large quantities.
