I am a women in her late 40’s and have recently been diagnosed as Vitamin deficient.  The doctor has me on prescription Vitamin D and I’m taking shots of Vitamin B12. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best Multi Vitamin would be.  I have herd so many conflicting opinions and would like to make sure that I’m taking the best one.  I plan to ask my doctor on my next appointment however its not until the end of February.  I appreciate any advice you may be able to offer.

The best vitamins/minerals are the food grade ones, the synthetic ones are hard for your system to digest, and in lots of cases, do not really help that much. I take wonderful supplements from Standard Process Lab. These are food grade, made entirly from food, are assimilated quickly by the body, are tolerated well by most all folks, (even me, and I have all kinds of trouble with things) They are a very high end company, and can only be obtained from a Naturopath, or sometimes on the net. Here is a link to a site that does carry it, I order from them at times.   http://catalog.naturamart.com/standardprocessproductlist.php
Here is a link to the company itself, they tell alittle about the products, etc.

I take the following products by them. Cataplex B, this is a terrific B vitamin that is great for folks with heart problems and general health conditions. Catalyn, this is their original vitamin, has a little of everything. Vasculin, this is great for heart health so is Cardio Plus, Organic Minerals, a good sourse of minerals/trace mineral. Calcium Lactate, a good source of Calcium.

They have lots of others too. I hope this helps.
