Do you make sure you are taking good oils? Fish, Flax, coconut? Oils help a lot with a lot of the things you were talking about, hair, nails, and joints. Also, my husband had terrible migraine headaches and he talked to an herbalist who said to take feverfew, just 1 a day. He still will randomly get the headaches but they are not debilitating. Make sure you get a good herb company like natures sunshine or natures way. Also, another good website to visit is www.5pillars.com.
There is something that you can get at a healthfood store called Silica. It comes in capsules and liquid form. You put a few drops in water twice a day and it's supposed to help with hair and nail growth. You also need a good woman's vitamin, there is one that you take three times a day but it gives you all the vitamins and nutrients that are needed as a woman. I take a pre-natal vitamin because I am ttc but it has definitely made my hair thicker, shinier and longer. See if your dr. can prescribe you better vitamins.
I have some of your same problems. Try taking a good multiple vitamin with iron. For your hair, try B-Complex, Biotin, Vitamin E and Zinc. My hair was falling out so much in the last few months and after other things were ruled out I noticed some small white spots on my nails which are signs of a Zinc deficiency. I started taking the Zinc 50mg once a day and within 5 days my hair loss has slowed considerably. Drinking decaffeinated Green Tea has helped too. For migraines, I elimiated all caffeine, try to get 8+ hours of sleep and stay calm since stress and not sleeping enough triggered my migraines. Migrastick (roll-on lavender and mint oils) also works well for a mild migraine. I got it at a health food store. Eating healthy will help a lot too.
