She should continue taking the Prenatal vitamins and minerals she needs for the baby and herself while she is pregnant and during breast feeding. To help with her gallbladder issues, suggest lowing cholesterol/fat through diet is to eat low fat meats (chicken, fish, turkey) or non meat sources (soy products), low fat vegetarian combinations, if tolerated, (rice & beans, pasta & beans, low fat cheese & pasta), fat free or low fat dairy products (skim milk, low fat cheese, low fat yogurts, low fat soy milk/yogurt), and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Eating daily high fiber breads and cereals (oatmeal) and ¼ cup or less of nuts (walnuts, peanuts, and cashew). Eating meats and no-fat dairy products will help keep up her protein levels without taking protein powders, and decrease the gallbladder issues. Avoid certain foods she cannot tolerate, even if they are on the list above. Hoped this helped you.
