Extreme night time shoulder pain

I have had at least four steroid injections to my shoulder for bicipital tendinitis/rotator cuff tendinopathy. I have had six weeks of P.T.  My MRI basically showed tendinitis, no tear. This is just so frustrating, I'm in a lot of pain. Any suggestions as to what I should do next? Or is this it?

hi,
just wanted to warn you against prolo injections...I had problems with both of my shoulders, the injectins worked on my right one, but the first injection i received on my left shoulder caused horrible unbearable pain about 8 hours after injection. I ended up  in the ER ( I could not move my left arm at all). I am now experiencing painand weakness in my entire left arm and I am still waiting to see an otrhopedic surgeon, (taking way too much vicadin to supress the pain). the initial concensus is the injection was too close to the nerve bundle in my shoulder  causing the extreme pain. I have not had a good nights sleep since it happened, and it is beginning to wear on me, I just want to crawl out of my skin!!!
they gave me a cortizone injection to ease the pain, and it worked for a few weeks, but now it is beginning to wear off.
As I cautined before be very careful with the prolo injections should you choose this avenue of treatment.

I'm having the same problems but haven't yet sought treatment. If I find some relief I'll let you know how.
