One leg is shorter than other

Hi,
I am female aged 31, my left leg is approx 4 inch shorter than right leg. when I walk I have to put my weight on my fingers (half foot). I want to know, is there any surgical way to level length of my short leg.

Thanking you.

My daughter has had surgery to fix some curvature in her tibia's. Now that this is done one leg is about an inch shorter than the other and she walks with a limp. They say now her one femur needs corrected. She is a cheerleader and going into to her senior year. Is there anything we can do for a temporary fix until surgery. Thank you for any advice you can give us. Concerned Mom.
