Re I need a solution

So my health teacher told me to soak my hand in warm water then stretch my pinky. When I did it popped every time y straightened it. He also told my bone felt like something was wrong. Should I keep stretching it?

Thanks for you suggestions I'll just do what my health teacher told me and talk to him again before school is out. I'll post again when I find a way to get it fixed. I took your advise on convincing my mom and it didn't work she said that we would keep an eye on it but we weren't going to a doctor. She told me to take advil and go to sleep so I could ignore the pain.

Dr. Vinod did see my other post and suggested a soft tissue injury so I asked my health teacher because he can see and feel my finger. My mom blows me off every time I tell her my hand hurts. I'm stuck between  my teachers advise and what I'm told on here.  I don't know what to do.

My mom knows about it though and said that she won't take me back to the doctor for it again.  I know it's not broken or fractured I just need to know how to make it go staight again.

Morgan, you need to take a break from karate and other sports until you have your hand checked out by the right kind of doctor and as i told you before that is a orthopedic hand doctor.  Your athletic director if he did receive medical training he would certainly advise you to see a orthopedic sports medicine doctor.  the only answers your going to get here is see a orthopedic doctor.  Dr Vinod is not a orthopedic doctor and he did not see your other post. you've had this injury for a while needs proper attention.

My health teacher is the athletic director and has some medical training.  Yesterday I told him about the popping and he said that it was a good thing. I already went to see the doctor and he told me it wasn't currently broken thatwas in January. When I told my teacher that I was told to squeeze a tennis ball he said it was the worst thing I could have done I had to agree because my finger did get worse. Is there anything I should be doing for it during karate?

Really Morgan your health teacher, make an appointment with a orthopedic hand doctor and find a good one.  you'll get the right answer with whats going on with your hand.  Morgan i've had 4 surgeries on my hand and a doctor that specializes on the hand is the one you want not a general practice doctor.

Hello!

Do not disturb your injured finger, first go for an X-ray and diagnose if you have any fracture.

If you do not then apply ice packs and rest the affected finger and take intermittent NSAIDs, if you have a fracture then follow up with an orthopedician.

Take care!
