I have been diagnosed by my neurosurgeon as having disc material pushed into my thoracic spine at at least 2 levels. Had a stroke (7 + yrs ago) and it has affected my balance. I have fallen many times and lose balance easily. I have bladder and bowerl dysfunction verified by Urodynamics. After having fallen and jarred by back about 3 wks ago, I have had worsening symptoms of problems walking, my left leg is very painful and I have terrible pain in specific areas of my thoracic and cervical spine-like a series of raw, painful sores inside my back bone. I had MRIS T & C spine and incidental note "is made of some menangiomata within the vertebral bodies in the upper thoracic spine. These aregenerally considered to be of no clinical significance." I have "age related disc dessication and bulging preset at C3-C4, C4-C5, and C5-C6, but no evidence of focal disc herniateion or direct nerve root compression per C-Spine Summary, T-Spine Summary states disc desiccation and mild diffuse disc bulging is present throughout the thoracic spine. Small central dis protrusions are present at several levels, with no evidence of lateralization or superimposed stenosis... What of these could be causing me this severe pain and problems with my walking?
