Treatment for a knee pain

I 24 year old i had a small accident 2 weeks before in that accident i injured my right knee so i go for a treatment doctor ask me for a x-ray for same but report was normal so doctor consult me to orthopedic surgeon he ask me to do MRI so today i have my reports with me but my consulting orthopedic surgeon is not in a city till monday & in my reports i have seen that "Mucoid degeneration of anterior cruciate ligament is noted & Myxoid degeneration of posterior horn of medial meniscus is noted" so can someone please help me to understand what exactly happened to my knee & what type of precautions should i take for this two days & last & very important please tell me is there any need of surgery
