Hi guys,

The past 3-4 days I have had a hot/warm feeling running down my lower leg to my ankle....anyone know the reason for this or what it is? Is it serious???

Thanks!

So there is no inflammation & injury. Try some antihistamines if you had any allergy and stop any other medications if you are taking because there might be some drug reaction.
If it bothers you and continues go for a Physician examination who would check your circulation etc. Take care and do not smoke if you do!

Hello Dr,

There is no redness on the skin nor did it hurt.
The past few days I have fallen asleep on the couch and being 6'2" my legs usually hang over the side...I wonder if i could cut of some circulation to my lower leg to make it feel that way...... I also had a microdisechtomy about 4 weeks ago for a herniation in my L5-S1.....that could be it as well...

Thanks for the reply.

It may be an inflammation or cellulitis if you can see redness on the skin with pain and swelling.
If you only feel warm without any other symptoms it may be due to some nerve stimulation, drug reaction or allergy.
Try some anti histamine and with rest and proper diet and sleep it will disappear, if not visit a Physician. Take care!
