Thank you Dr. Navneet,
I am 25 years old and I have never had any previous surgery on my hips. Thank you for the advice. I will contact an orthopedic surgeon to maybe get a checkup on my hips!
Kind Regards,
Dena
Hello Dear,
How old are you?
Has there been a previous surgery?
Congenital hip dysplasia is due to the abnormal hip joint socket articulation.
The harness is recommended for minimizing the impact of the problems and the subsequent symptoms. Less mobility or flexibility on one side is a typical feature of Congenital hip dysplasia.
Chronic abnormality at the joint would lead to undue pressure and prone for osteoarthritis.
Surgery is unlikely of any great help.
Consult your physiotherapist and the orthopedic surgeon.
Best,
Take care
