Our 18-year old son has been to two orthopedic doctors, including a surgeon, a nerve specialist, athletic trainers, and spent countless hours in PT. all MRIs, x-Rays, and nerve tests have come back negative with no structural issues. None of them can come up with a reason for the pain that goes from his shoulder, down through front of elbow and into hand. On days where he throws a lot, the pain is so great and his whole arm shakes. He was recruited for college baseball, but coaches are threatening to cut him in Spring if arm issue isn't resolved. One diagnosis was that his arm rotation was short, but college trainer said his rotation is better than half the team after months of stretching. One diagnosis said it was his scapula leaning into top of ulna nerve, but trainer said no Gird is found. He does a lot of neck movement and popping as if he has a stiff neck, but doctors have pushed that aside. His sternum does this too. Any suggestions of what to do next would be greatly appreciated. We have thought about visiting a chiropractor.
