de quervain tendinosis and cubital tunnel

How is this going to impact on my life every day challenges. I'm a chef and my profession require repetitive motion with my right hand which is my dominant hand. I've been put on air cast for 6 weeks hard cast for 2 weeks because the hand became swollen to the point that all other fingers turned purple. The original diagnosis was fracture of the scaphiod. After all this time almost 5 months and 25 therapy is worst than when I fell. What else can I do? I'm losing my mind I can't sleep I'm restless and annoyed with the pain tingling from my forearm to all of my fingers including numbness.swelling comes and goes.

I was diagnosed with the de quev. in my rt. wrist.  I'm a  OB and nursery nurse and fought with this for several years.  I did the meds. the physical therapy and 3 steroid shots in that wrist.  The shots helped for a short time and then it was back with a vengeance .  It got so bad I could not lift things with out intense pain and I'm rt handed.
I finally did surgery. There is a band across those ligaments that swells and that compresses them.  They did ligament release , they cut that band to loosen it and there was scar tissue they that they removed.
Much much much much better.   Still a tiny twinge but at least 99% better.
