back injure

I injure my back in a fall the doctor that I went to told me this..Are you born with degenerative lumb /sacral disc? what do they mean...what is a thoracic spinx and what is the treatment  please let me know as soon as possible

If your talking about a syrinx, its a is a fluid filled spinal cyst, treatments vary from one patient to the other depending on the severity. Some people are treated with shunts that can  direct the fluid to the abdominal cavity where it can be re-absorbed, others might need surgery.Not all syrinxes are problematic and asymptomatic patients with small syrinx cavities can be managed by watching and with frequent imaging exams.

It is actually called degenerative lumbosacral disc.  It is a degenerative disc disease that develops over time and with age.
