When someone is on a course of Rcinex, Combutol, Pyzina and Benadin is alcohol consumption contra-indicated totally?
How long is the course for?
After the course of treatment ends can alcohol consumption be permitted?
Is there a permanent damage to the liver on account of these medicines?
Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

These are anti tubercular drugs and this will act against active tuberculosis bacteria and after 2-3 months you will only have Rcinex so this is a passing phase and all the drugs have different side effects and there is no rule that you will be having all the side effects.

I would suggest you to follow up with your TB specialist if you have any side effects with urination or other symptoms.

Take care!
