supartz and synvisc dizziness

Has anyone else dizzy after having these injections?

Its been 5 days now, still having a hard time focusing.

Hello!

You can have side effects of dizziness and headaches with viscosupplementation. There are other side effects like skin irritation, numbness or tingly feeling.

Eat healthy and drink lots of water and if the symptoms continue beyond a week then check for any allergic reactions with your orthopedician and rethink before taking the 2nd shot.

You should avoid strenuous and weight bearing activities for couple of days after injection and should also check if you are particularly allergic to eggs, birds or bird products.

Consider changing into different sodium hyaluronates if you are allergic to supartz for your next round of injection.
