I am having knee surgery this thursday,my knee is bone on bone my Dr. said I am to young for a repl. so he is going to cut some bone below my knee kinda like a reverse shim.Does anybody know what this procedure is called and any idea what the recovery time is
I've never heard of that procedure. I had my knees replaced at age 40. I find it amazing how some doctors will not replace knees of younger people while others will.

Do you have any history of trauma?
Any pain? If so how much is the severity?
Or is it simply a cosmetic deformity.
Else is it a bone tumor?
