Sonography can help identify the nature of the ovarian cysts. Differentiation between cystic and solid lesions is possible. Also the dermoid can be diagnosed on ultrasound. Functional ovarian cysts resolve spontaneously many times. For the rest surgical management becomes necessary especially if they are large. Consult your Doctor.
