COMPLEX OVARIAN CYST

After having a pelvic ultrasound, my DR. told me that I have a 2cm complex ovarian cyst on my right ovary. He said that 98% of the time they go away on their own. I am having another ultrasound in 1 month. I am a bit anxious and concerned about this. Has anyine had an experience with this?
Thanks!

Glad to hear the ROMA test was negative. I hope the cyst shrinks. Best of luck getting rid of the infections. It would be a good idea to take probiotics since antibiotics destroy good bacteria along with the bad.

She had heavy bleeding, often. The good news is my ROMA test came back negative. So now I just have to repeat the U.S. I hope the cyst has shrunk. I don't think I'll have the D&C, the dr. Hasn't mentioned it again. My main problem now is bacterial infections. I'm on antibiotics again.

Did your mom possibly have endometriosis or some other pelvic pain condition? That seems to be the driving factor for hysterectomy for young women.

Ok I had heard about ROMA but do not know much about it. Do you have a family history of ovarian cancer?
