Me(age 21) and my husband(age 25) had a little girl in 5/15, and in 11/15 we began trying for another. after alot of pain, tears and absent periods I went to the doctor . In January 2017 my periods finally returned (not entirely regular but better than before pregnancy) and in february 2017 , they discovered I have a 8×7cm dermoid cyst on my right ovary and must have it laparoscopically removed . My consultant has said that despite the fact that I am desperate for more children, because I already have one that retaining my fertility is not there first priority. Unfortunately, due to me already having a child , the NHS will also do nothing to help me regarding ivf etc.. so it has to be a natural conception :(
My question is: after having my surgery , if they manage to save little or non of my ovary , what will be my chances of having another baby conceived naturally ?
