About 8 years ago I had a vaginal hysterectomy due to hyperplasia (due to - too much estrogen). I am 64 and fairly healthy until this past year. I have extreme back pain, had an MRI in Sept. and they discovered a cyst on my spine. The location results in nerve pain, sciatic, both legs and difficult to stand for lengths of time. Recently I went to back specialist and he recommended an anti-inflammatory to reduce cyst (to avoid back surgery). I have been taking Celebrix for 2 weeks and have not noticed any change but I have been informed to give it at least 3 months. I'm wondering is it possible at my age to still be producing too much estrogen and the cause of my problem? I need advice on how to reduce cyst. Lois
