Hi,
I guess the question I have is : What has your Dr. suggested you do ? Ovarian Cysts and ovarian cancer can cause many similar symptoms. There is absolutely no way to tell for certain unless and until surgery is performed and the path results come back. Having said that, cysts are very very common and 95% benign.
The best course of action is to speak with your physician to see what his recommended course of action is. They may possibly suggest removal, but sometimes, they prefer to wait awhile to see if they resolve themselves.
In the meantime, try not to "google" too much... You will frighten yourself to pieces. Ask your Dr. what he suggests and let us know.
I'm having it removed. Surgery isn't scheduled until june 26. I'm hoping to get in next week though if there is an opening.
how did everything turn out? my symptoms seem to be like this and bad and I am frightened i dont know what all this is before the ultrasound did they find anything when they touched the cervix? abdomin? or uterus walls? when you and an OBGYN exam because when they were touching and putting pressure themselves I did not feel much but when I am home I feel all types of pain/pressure. diarrhea a lot and very often stomach and pelvic region hurt and I am only 20 years old
You are not alone, because I was diagnosed with a complex cyst on my right ovary and have been looking up complex cysts. Ovarian cancer comes up with the same symptoms and they said that it is very hard to diagnose. I am scared to death also and the doctor wants me to wait until September for another ultrasound to see if it has decreased in size. I can't possibly wait that long and have these symptoms. My symptoms are bloating, pelvic pain, gas, fullness, leg pain, indigestion, and nausea. I look 4 or 5 months pregnant! What was the outcome of your situation? I hope everything turned out okay.
