I had similar pains... on my left side within the first week of my insertion. Went to get an U/S and my doc told me I had a couple cysts (that would most likely go away on their own) and that my IUD was hanging low. A week later my pain has lessened. What were your results, since your original post was in August?

Do you go back to your doctor soon? I would think they would make an appt with you to discuss the findings. I am not sure what to tell you. Hopefully, someone else will come along with more knowledge. Good luck!
