That is good that a doctor checked you out. Sometimes, glands can stay permanently enlarged after an infection. But, if they grow or you are in pain, you should bring it up again! Sometimes symptoms like this can change over time. Best wishes!
I have asked my GP twice, and she felt them and said they are nothing, just swollen glands. But that's before all my other problems began and before glands started hurting.
My first gyno thinks it's like when your sick and you get swollen glands in your neck. Cos I obviously have something going on in there, that's why my glands are swollen. My second gyno thought it may be from a hernia, but he checked and said not, but didn't give me any indication as to what it may be........
You should call your doctor to report and get it checked out. Have you been sick or do you have a fever? I have had swollen glands in the grion before, but didn't have a cyst at the time. Usually, it is related to an infection and other glands swell as well (like the neck). But, it is definitely a symptom that needs to be checked by your doctor.
