Help Please

Hi, I am getting Horrible lower right side pain with my period. I have had this happen the last few cycles. I also get it on and off throughout the month but nothing like during my period. I have a 2cm complex cyst on my right ovary and my uterus is about the size of if i was 2 1/2 months pregnant. I am scheduled for a Histeroscopy with D&C and a Laparoscopy in about a weeks time as i am moving and he wants to check me out before i leave just incase its something that needs taken care of.  My gyne told me the cyst is too small to cause this pain. It is only in the lower right side, and the pain radiates down to my knee. My period is quite heavy too. I am getting worried its something more. Does anyone else experience pain like this from a small cyst?

I had  scar tissure removal back in 1992, Maybe it could be that again. I have had 1 C-Section, 2 births and had an ectopic. I was really nervous about the surgery but i now starting to look forward to it, so i can find out whats causing this. Thanks for your reply. Are you going to get the Hysterectomy done?
