Post surgery plaster pads, scared to take them off :(

So Im 17 and had surgery a week ago for my ovarian cyst (also bonus i have 2 Wombs) and im terrified of what my scars are going to look like and also i don't know if im supposed to remove the little plaster things, they didn't tell me too but they didn't tell me not too. My mum rang them and said they told her to change them but i don't trust them because they're just nurses and the nurses at my hospital weren't very smart, but mostly im REALLY SCARED that they're going to rip something when they come off and its all going to come apart and bloods going to go everywhere and it will hurt and I'll cry cos im a baby seriously im really scared so what happened when u removed the pad things im scared

Sorry its 4am where i am and tomorrow morning my mum wants to just get them off there so im tired and panicking please help me thanks
