Just wanted to say thanks

to all of you... just for being here! I really felt like I was going through this process alone, as my husband is living/working out of state (new job situation) and I am trying to get our house sold so I can move to be with him. (Good luck with that right now!)  ;)  One of my biggest fears has always been going through menopause, and with a complete hysterectomy likely in my near future, it has been tremendously helpful to me to see ladies who have gone, or are going, through these types of things who are so supportive and encouraging. I just wanted to thank you all for being here!
God bless...
Cheryl

Bless you for such nice words- this forum is a wonderful resource isnt it. We feel so helpless and alone at these times and it is great to share and care with others. I understand your emotional pain- I ended up being apart form my husband for part of my journey too- although we are back in the same state now, it may change in the future.

best wishes

Hi Cheryl,
Hope you are doing ok. Any updates on what is going on? Are you getting another opinion or are you having surgery? I had robotic hyst/bso/appy Oct 15th. Surgical menopause is not a picnic, but it is doable. I didn't really have many options in relation to surgery. I had suspicious lesions on both ovaries, and when my gyn/onc said it was time that it all came out, I opted for the uterus out too since my mom had uterine cancer. I am doing much better since I started hormone replacement last week.
I hope you get some answers and options. Take Care
