Ovarian Cysts since age 14

When I was 14 I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. It was 7cm. I had emergency surgery. My ob/gyn told me that since the cyst grew on my fellopian tube it had been scarred and that tube no longer worked. 6 years later they found a 4 cm cyst on my left ovary. That one went away on its own. Again recently I went to the ER for pain and the ER doctor said there was a tiny ovarian cyst but nothing to worry about since it is very common for women to have cysts.

My question is how can I find out what my chances of having children are? I am 21 years old and finishing up my bachelor degree and am worried that if I wait too long for the "right time" that my chance of having children might pass me up.

Also, is there things that people do to prevent them? Any tips?

Advice is appreciated,
Thanks.
