Ovarian cyst? Swelling feeling, worried!

Hello,
For the past month I have had swelling/bloating and a burning sensation on my left side (abdomen).  Also, I seem to urinate a lot and have digestive problems (gas, etc.).  It seems to get worse when I eat.  I went to a Nurse Practitioner and I tested positive for Bacterial Vaginosis.  Two rounds of antibiotics later I still don't feel normal but I don't have the money to go back to her to check if the BV is gone.  I'm pretty sure it can't be because I don't feel well.  Last March I had an ultrasound at the county clinic I normally go to (which takes months to see anybody so I usually) and they found a 2.7cm cyst on my left ovary.  I went to a Gynecologist at the county clinic about two weeks ago and he couldn't explain the swelling/bloating/burning I'm experiencing and wouldn't order another ultrasound for me (as the Nurse Practitioner had recommended).  It seems strange to me that the pain is definitely coming from the left side of my abdomen where my cyst is.  I'm worried and I feel like I'm going in circles.  The NP told me my ovaries and my fallopian tubes could be infected if we don't stop the infection.  What do I do?  Please help me! Thank you.

Hi Sharon, thank you so much for your suggestions.  They were very helpful.  I'll let you know what I end up doing.  For now I am either going back to urgent care at the clinic or if I can get some money together I'm going to the Nurse Practitioner and see if she can retest me for the BV and then recommend a good gynecologist. I'll let you know what I find out.  Thank you so much and God bless you too.
