Results and Confused

I recently posted a thread about my symptoms. Basically, missed period, on birth control for a long time (years) delivered son 8 years ago by csection, and suddenly I had onset of: bloating, missed period, nausea, fullness, loss of appetite, pain in lower right side and hip, growling belly all of the time, change in BMs.

Went to gyn for pelvic exam, when she felt right ovary it was enlarged according to her exam and I nearly came off of the table. I felt like I could understand why men hurt when their testes were grazed. Wow it hurt. I had a cyst found on right ovary about 5 years ago but I do NOT recall this kind of discomfort.
After exam dr and I discussed options and she said If I preferred  she would schedule a vaginal ultrasound. So we did.

Pain got worse.  Over the weekend; less appetite; maybe it is nerves.

Ultrasound today revealed a 1/2 inch functional cyst on right ovary, and a uterine fibroid. Ultrasound tech seemed like it was a fairly decent outcome ?? Does this contribute to my symptoms? Anyone had similar results??  Dr is to call me regarding fibroid. Should I be concerned? Should I consider further testing with general dr for GI issues?? I'm so lost. They acted like I shouldn't feel anything different. I'm very thin in general, so the bloat is obvious.

I had exactly the same symptoms with my cyst that was removed last year. All the pelvic and back pain the bloat the whole lot. My cyst was over 20cm and I looked like I was at least 6 months pregnant, also being slim it was very noticable
Try not to worry too much because now you and the doctor know what you are dealing with they will be able to sort it out.
I dont think they would think it was not a problem its just that the doctors and specialists are trained to be calm, direct and professional otherwise they would freak all their patients out
hope you get on ok. Take care
