Help

I have been having for the past 5-6 months, right hip pain, bloating, no appetite, low back pain, clothes feeling tighter and extremly tired all the time. I went to the doctor and he ordered blood work, ultrasound and urinalysis. Here are the results: ultrasound: 2 small gallbladder wall polyps, 2.6 cm cyst on right ovary and small posterior wall uterine fibroids. Blood: wbc 13.2 and absolute neut 10.0 both marked high; urinalysis; sodium 132. Can anyone tell me what any of this means? I don't go back to the doctor until April 20. Thanks

I got my test results from the HIDA scan and it shows a slight delay in the filling of the gallbladder it is first seen at 50 minutes the tracer is seen in the small bowel x 20 minutes the ejection fraction at 10 minutes is 38%, 20 minutes 54% and 30 minutes 77%. Haven't seen the doctor yet to see where we go from here.

Well went back to the doctor today. He wants to do a HIDA scan of my gallbladder and if that turns out ok, then he will look at my cyst.

Tammylee 72 - Thank you so much for the kind words. All I know is the high wbc mean some kind of infection, but what kind I am not sure. They also didn't tell me what kind of cyst. I am now experiencing a kinda of fullness in my upper abdomen, right between my ribs that gets worse when I eat. I am trying to write everything down so I won't forget when I do go back to the doctor.

Wow...it sounds like you have a lot going on.  I'm not sure what your blood work or the gallbladder wall polyps mean.  Did they say what kind of cyst you had?  I just had a 5cm endometrioma cyst and right ovary removed on Thursday and I can relate to your pain.  Cyst alone can cause a great deal of pain, anywhere from throbbing, stabbing, dull aches, back and hip pain, bloating, fatigue etc. I would prepare yourself to have surgery...sounds like you have a lot going on inside of you and I would make sure you ask your doctor to explain it to you throughly.  It can be scary not knowing and the waiting is the worst part.  I'm day 3 post surgery and I already am feeling so much better, the pain from where my cyst was is gone....I'm just dealing with the pain from the 5 small incisions she made but am already on the road to recovery.
This forum is amazing...it was so nice to read other people's stories and realize that I wasn't going through this alone and that I wasn't loosing my mind.
Please keep us posted on how your appointment goes.  Wishing you all the best.
