I've been having pain for about 7 months. that's just one cyst though. that's how big it is all the way around im guessing. I'm not real sure though my doctor said its 4.5 in all the way around? I can feel it sometimes whenever I move around and i have heard that most cysts rupture before or during your period and mine hasn't.

Welcome to the community. I am sorry you are in pain.

A centimeter is less than 1/2 inch (1 centimeter = .3937 inches) so those cysts are small. But some women have pain with small cysts. And if they leak or rupture, that can be painful. Most ovarian cysts resolve on their own in 2 to 3 cycles. Some doctors prescribe birth control pills in hopes that will help them shrink.

How long have you been having pain?
