I am a 26 year old female who has never been pregnant. For the past couple of years, I have had increasingly worse menstrual cramps on my right side. Also, I have noticed pain on my right side during ovulation. I went to ER because of the pain about a year ago, had a pap test and blood work, and was told I had a slight urinary tract infection. I was prescribed Ultram. About 5 months later, I went to my local free clinic because the pain was getting worse. The nurse practitioner pressed on my stomach and said I needed to go to the hospital for a CT scan because I had "rebound pain" She then called me a few hours later and told me that I was constipated (I knew I wasn't) and again I was prescribed Ultram. The pain continues to get worse, month after month. I am also beginning to notice soreness every now and then when I'm not menstruating or ovulating. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Could the CT scan have missed an ovarian cyst or something? I don't have insurance because I lost my job. I usually have to stay in bed when I am menstruating, because the pain is so bad. I have tried advil, aleve, exederin, pamprin, midol, chamomille tea, a heating pad, hot baths, and rubbing lavender oil on my abdomin. Nothing is helping. Please help. I am so frusterated, and at the end of my rope. Has anyone else had this happen? Any good home remedies? Thanks to all in advance!!
