I've been having pelvic, rectal, bladder, groin pressure and pain for months. I have had antibiotics for bladder infections, didn't help. Ultrasound showed a 5 cm cyst mildy complex. Follow up US showed it had decreased in size and says it's now over 3 cm. I figure this is going to be the type of cyst that goes away on it's own. My dr. has ordered an MRI to see if there is anything else going on. I go from aching and pressure in the lower, lower, pelvic area and the rectum, to lower back pain, to pain (not sure if it's the groin area) where the legs meet the body around the vagina. I have lost 17 pounds in 2 months. I have only had a couple days where I have not had to take pain medication so that I can work and not just curl up in a ball for the day. I never am crying in pain, until I just am fed up and I am fed up. My question for the experts is; if it is not the cyst causing all this, can you think of anything else that it could be from your experiences or maybe things you have read???? I do not know my family medical history so that makes it difficult too.
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas of what to check next or where to go from here I would sincerly appreciate it.
PS. I did have my third c-section 6 months ago and have wondered if scar tissue could be the culprit. I also have already had my right ovary and tubes removed because of a benign tumor.
