Ovarian Cyst

Could a 2.2cm ovarian cyst, the cyst does have fluid in it. I had a CT scan two weeks ago that showed the size of the cyst.  Cause pain in my left groin area and down my left leg and back? I have a Dr appt 9/1. This has been going on for over a month.

I don't know. That would be an invasive procedure with risks. From what I've read, some women are put on birth control with the hope that the cyst will reduce in size. All you can do is ask your doctor when you go in.

A cyst that size is still within the normal range. Yes, they can cause sharp pains or aching pains. I used to have them quite frequently when I was younger. It's good to keep tracking it. Perhaps at some point it will break open as they usually do each month. Hope it resolves soon.
