Hello,
One of the most effective treatments for ovarian cysts is use of contraceptive pills or progesterone pills. It can also be treated surgically and this procedure is known as drilling. Other modes of treatment are laparoscopic surgery, laparotomy or surgery for complicated ovarian cysts.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Thank you for your response. She has already tried contraceptives and progesterone pills, plus additional hormones including a noise spray to put her into menopause but none stopped the cysts. She has had many surgeries to remove them, so she has seen many OBGYNs this no solutions.. I've never heard of drilling so I will look into that. Sounds like drilling is for those that want to ovulate and conceive, she is ovulating which is causing the cysts, so that doesn't sound like a good option but I will have her ask her doctor.
