Scared of BM pain 2weeks after endometrioma removal

Hi ladies
It's been over 2weeks since my surgery and I have had an awful recovery which included major constipation (hospital diagnosed via xray after intense BM pain and vomiting and fever), now a uti which I started antibiotics for yesterday, my period is back with a vengeance (had mirena removed during surgery as it was in when I developed the bilateral endometriomas). I started the pill but stopped due to nausea, but will get on that as soon as I'm healed. Anyway, despite clearing my blockage I am still have intense 10/10 pain scale pains before, during then after BM. It feels like the passage has narrowed or something as I seem to feel the matter passing through. It felt like labour contractions this morning which I had to try to use to push the BM out. It doesn't help that I now also have horrible menstrual cramps too. I'm scared about how long this will continue and whether something more nasty is occurring.
Did this happen to anyone else? I feel like I'm going 2steps forward then 1step back on this recovery journey, and am getting rather depressed.
Thanks for reading

I didnt mean you should stop your stool softner....oh no :)
I was inquiring about the pain killers. Have you tried another type of softner...I changed to Ducolax and doubled the dosage.

Yes I'm taking movical as a stool softener and feel I need to keep it up until the pain subsides... I couldn't imagine the pain of a solid BM right now! Re meds, I'm off the strong ones now and using buscopan for tummy spasms, naprogesic for period cramps and small amounts of paracetamol/codeine when needed. I'm well aware of the opioid / constipation issues and am not going to let that happen again :). I'll continue to reduce the codeine and hope that it helps further .. Thanks. Re foods, not eating much out of BM fear -would fibre help or hurt me more?

Are you taking a stool softner? Are you still taking pain killers?

Pain killers will cause constipation so as long as you are taking them you will continue to have this issue.

Are you eating foods that will hurt or help this situation?

Once I stopped taking the pain killers my issues decreased a lot.
