Septated cyst = other issues?

Hi
I'm 34
For the past 2+ years Ive been having mood swings, anger, depression, acne, fatigue, severe bloating, abdo pain, what feels like kidney pain which has landed me at ER a few times- but they never found anything, lethargy (to the point of can't think straight, mix up words, drive wrong side of road without realizing) so tired, weight gain gained 5kg in 3 weeks and for the past 2 years trying to get under 69kg is just impossible no matter what I eat or how offen I'm at gym, had hot flashes when it all started (now subsided) and at the start I was on bcp but bleeding didn't stop, switched to different pill that also make above symptoms worse and still bleeding. . (Now period is just very irregular) Saw a doctor (gp) that said he fixes hormone stuff, he gave me a progesterone cream and took me off Yasmin and said no bcp.. Ever. If I wanted bcp go see another doctor. So I stick with him for a while and hot flashes and bleeding stopped but things still weren't right..  then I researched and found another gp that specialised in hormone treatment so I went to him for second opinion, got more tests but it's hard to get a blood test on day 23 of cycle when you have no idea, it turned out that every blood test I tried to calculate and have on the right day would be the same day I would get my period, seriously cursed, so none of my blood tests were accurate. Anyway he put me on a stronger progesterone cream and biest cream.  I asked if I could go to bcp his answer was yes (but really no) just go to your normal GP and just try any ones til you find one that you like.. Wtf!
So a year later I still have the above symptoms while mood has improved and acne has somewhat improved I still have major issues with any sort of weight loss and for someone that starting a career in the fitness industry, if I can't get results for myself, why would my clients trust me?  It is extremely frustrating and the fatigue and tiredness that I feel, sometimes I think am I crazy? Am I just making this up???

I recently moved and changed doctors, I explained to my new doc about the past issues and what's still going on, exploring I want a referral to a real specialist and want good advice because really 2 + years of this crap is enough.  The first thing he does is order a pelvic scan, something I've never had before and that none of the other doctors did. And it comes back with Septated cyst..2.6x1.6cm left ovary 11.2cc right ovary 5.5cc

Then I go back to him and he says because I'm not post menopause this is a non event nothing to worry about no action or follow up required, , not connected with my above symptoms at all. Finally after me going on and on about my symptoms I got a referral to a gynecologist - it only took 2 years. i would prefer to see endocrinologist however I'm happy to see the gynecologist and perhaps they can refer me if needed.

Sorry for the very long winded post, but has anyone had symptoms like I described above and think it's related to the cyst? Or is the cyst a symptom of the actual hormone imbalance?

Has anyone had these frustrations from doctors like I have? And what was your outcome.

I shouldn't have to fight and convince a doctor that something is up for over 2 years.. I'm not an idiot, I don't think I'm crazy yet as I said before some days I think is this all in my head? Am I just being weak/silly? But then I see the acne or the crazy periods and I know its not right?
And how many others having to fight their doctors or being told everything is fine?

Thanks

Sorry for your troubles! I would not think that 2 years of these symptoms could be explained by this small cyst. Have you had blood work to check your thyroid and pituitary?

I forgot to add loss of libido, sex is painful/uncomfortable which also started 2 years ago. I'm not sure how to edit my post to add that in.
