Throwing up a lot after surgery...

Hi,

About 5 weeks ago i had an 8cm dermoid cyst removed from my left ovary by laparoscopic surgery The pain has mostly gone away but i am getting worried about feeling sick all the time since surgery, i feel nausious almost all day and i throw up bile almost every morning. About 2 weeks ago i would throw up everything i ate and this lasted for about a week.

Im just wondering if it is normal for me to be feeling so sick all the time and if anybody went through the same thing?

I have not had my period since the operation, and the last time i did get it was May, i didn't think you could get pregnant without getting a period? In the last year i only got my period about 3 times.

Do these sound like pregnancy symptoms or just a normal recovery from surgery.

HI
I agree with Sandy. Anesthesia makes a lot of people nauseous, but not this far out from surgery. I would definitely make a call to your doc and tell him your symptoms.

Hi,
No, I had no nausea at all after the laparoscopic procedure. . I had that queasy feeling before surgery but none afterwards.
Gracious... you haven't had a period since May? What is your Dr's opinion regarding the lack of periods.?
I'd certainly ask him/her about this nausea. I haven't heard of anyone experiencing it that far out from surgery..
