after laparascopy

i recently had laparascopic surgery to remove a 13 cm cyst and my right ovary and tube. surgery went well for the first week then i developed fevers nightly then one day my lower incision started draining really bad. i went to the er and they took cultures and kept me there on antibiodics thru iv for 4 days.  they said i had cellulitus staph infection and they sent me home with antibiodics for 11 days. i feel better but my incision is still draining so bad that i have to keep it bandaged and my incisioin is wide open. has any one else experienced this? i go bakk to the dr. on the 11th but im wondering when will this drainage go away and my incision close bakk up? please help. thanks

Hey There,
I definitely agree with Sandy. You should call your surgeon as the appt is still 2 weeks away and to have drainage that extreme seems like it warrants a call. I too hope you feel better and get this all straightened out.

HI,
I'm wondering after all the "complications" you've had, why they are waiting until the 11th to see you.. .Did you tell your surgeon about your visit to the ER.. ? It would seem he would have wanted you to come in  as soon as possible  after being released.

I think you should call your Dr. and try to see him before the 11th..
Hope you feel better,
Sandy
