bilocular overian cyst with internal echoes

im 39 years old and never married , i had a pain on right side of my body since 10 days , so i went to check and made ultrasound they found a 6.8 x 5.7 cm right bilocular overian cyst with internal echoes , can this be treated?"

Hello,
Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. Most ovarian cysts will go away on their own. But if they cause the above mentioned symptoms then they need treatment.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. I'm not sure about bilocular cysts, but based on the size it's a pretty good size. With a size this big they will either suggest keeping an eye on them or doing surgery.  Surgery will most likely be suggested due to the size and the pain. Or they can keep an eye on it and check again in 6-8 weeks to see if the cyst shrinks.
